Version History
Every version of an item that BYOVault has ever backed up is retained and browsable — not just the most recent one.
How it works
Each time a backup job runs and finds a file or mail item has changed, it writes a new version alongside the ones already stored. BYOVault never overwrites a prior version. The version history view shows every version captured across every backup run, each with its own timestamp.
Checksum-verified
Every stored version carries a SHA-256 checksum recorded at backup time and verified again on restore, guaranteeing byte-for-byte integrity end-to-end.
Where you can browse it
Operators can browse version history for any tenant, any workload, from the operator dashboard. End users with access to the self-service portal can browse version history for their own Exchange mailbox and OneDrive items.
